It is an immense pleasure for me to express few words on the significant contribution made by ASHRAE towards HVACR technological advancement in Pakistan. AHSRAE is a pool of modern knowledge having enormous research facilities and a knowledge disseminating source.

When, I trace back to the time, when HVAC activities were at low profile and even scattered making no considerable contribution to national growth. While making analytical review of prevailing HVACR facilities, I find enormous progress and development. This revolutionary and noteworthy development is due to marvelous services extended by Pakistan HVACR Society. It is Society, which provided a single united platform and and professionally organized all HVACR activities in Pakistan.

While foreseeing importance of ASHRAE, Pakistan HVACR Society extended collaboration and joint hands with ASHRAE for technological advancement in the country. Besides Society, 3 independent chapters are operating in their orbit but in complete coordination with other chapters & Society, as well. It is rather not possible to wrap up splendid services being rendered by ASHRAE both on technological and professional fronts.

It is worth mentioning here that ASHRAE is working in complete collaboration with LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environment Design) for Zero Energy and Green Building concept. It is not far away, when this concept will be extensively utilized in Pakistan for optimal economy in energy consumption and environment preservation for the humanitarian cause at global level.

I wish that cooperation and collaboration between Pakistan HVACR society and ASHRAE should continue to expend over the period for the growth of HVACR Profession.
